Hello/Hola/Ciao/Salut!

I'm originally Italian but grew up and lived in a mix of countries - Singapore, France, and the UK mostly, but with some time in the Philippines, India and the US. I speak Italian, English, Spanish and French, and I am now usually based in the UK and work in international development. I'm into trekking and swing dancing, along with other activities like running and camping. I'm not up and about in nature I also really love cultural and artistic events, walking through new streets and cities and enjoying live music. I'm also part of the queer community and I've been living in a housing cooperative since 2020.

Because I think it's a great way to get to know new places and I love the hospitality and bonds that couchsurfing lends itself to.

兴趣

I have a lot of interests and hobbies but it goes in phases so although all of those I mentioned are close to my heart, I might be more focused on some in certain periods of my life. I guess at the moment supporting my housing cooperative is probably top of the list, and I try to go camping or walking as soon as I have the chance :-)

To be fair although life is full of incredible moments, things to see and do, I think simple things like a good conversation, a jump in the sea or a special solitary or shared moment are sometimes the most precious times...

I'd love to learn more about rock climbing as I've mostly only bouldered in the UK, so that's one thing I'd love to do more of in my sabbatical.

I'm happy to share my knowledge of things like: countries I've been to or that I know about, reading lists, travel stories, information international development, languages. I am also a swing dance teacher so can teach some moves!
