Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Unfortunately none yet but hopefully this section will slowly fill itself up with countless amazing experiences!
However being in the US during my year abroad has included a lot of different housing situations for me since I did not have one fixed hostfamily but I was moving into the houses of many different friends for periods of times, sometimes longer, sometimes shorter. Those experiences have been a big learning experience and it made me so much more aware of what it is like to be living under someone elses roof, even if it is just for a short period of time. It's all about respect, open mindedness, kindness and the will to never stop getting to know the world from someone elses perspective to broaden your own horizon. At least that is what I have experienced during my year and yeah of course it is not always sunshine and rainbows and there can be missunderstanding, however if you keep an open mindset and respect towards each other, any argument is solvable. These are just some of the things I have picked up from the traveling I have done so far and I hope Couchsurfing will get me to meet tons of new people and with them tons of new experiences and adventures.
