HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I'm between jobs, between apartments, and traveling for a couple months. Once I'm settled again, I look forward to hosting and helping travelers explore my city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm relatively new to CouchSurfing, but I can't wait to earn some stories to tell. So far, I just have my very first awesome host in Charlotte, who showed me the city and helped me find my apartment.

Food (I'll try anything!), wine and classic cocktails, yoga, food policy, running, fitness, outdoor adventures, exploring new places, meeting new people. My favorite nights are spent exploring creative cocktail menus in a bar, talking and laughing with friends until we get dirty looks from the waitstaff because they closed an hour ago.

I'm also a bit of a book nerd -- just being in a library makes me far too happy. However, I've recently taken the dive and purchased a Kindle, only because it's much more practical for travel. Don't judge me.

I can't give you legal advice (I'm required to say that), but I can certainly tell you a little of what I've learned about the law, if you're so inclined. I can teach you to make a mean cocktail (bourbon and gin are my favorite to mix with) or how to cook up an exceedingly healthy veggie, vegan, or meat-alicious dish. (I've tried vegetarianism and raw veganism, but right now I just try to eat consciously.) Also, I know a good bit about nutrition and can make a damn good green juice or smoothie.
