I'm a chatty and welcoming person. Words I hear often when I get described are eclectic and eccentric - I choose to take that as a complement ;)
You will find that I'm ver easy going and easy to get along with. I like to just go with the flow and enjoy life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to host and go to events. Trying the 'surfing aspect is on my 'to do' list but it isn't my main priority.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been couchsurfing since 2010 but have recently opened a new account - check out my Canadian roomie, Liam OhUiginn to find references of surfers until Summer 2013. I lived with three guys for three years and we hosted dozens of surfers in Ottawa. It was such a blast, I have always loved what couchsurfing is about.
Showing people around your own city helps you from taking for granted the beauty that lies in your own backyard. Also, meeting like-minded global travellers and having some awesome nights of good conversation and building friendships.
I have yet to stay with someone but hope to do so soon! Also looking forward to being able to host couchsurfers again.

Intereses

I enjoy being outside and being active. The UAE offers a lot of opportunity for that, especially if you're willing to get out of the city for a night or two!
Camping (safari) is a lot of fun, hiking, rock climbing and deep water soloing (DWSing), and sailing. In my short amount of time I've spent here so far, these have been my interests over the weekends.
I love going to the beach and alternating between reading and swimming in the ocean.
I enjoy writing as well. I write for work, obviously, but I blog and enjoy conceptualizing for potential stories or simply for the entertainment of exploring a topic.
