I like to meet new people and enjoy discovering new places, eat together, getting to know each other. Last winter I am retired as a teacher of Dutch language and literature and as organiser and evaluator of international educational projects, now I'm studing Philosophy in the first year. I was planning to take the Orient Express when corona came. Perhaps I will never go to China, but I visited Italy instead, doing a grand tour from Milano, to Florence and Rome. Sicily was so beautiful. I'm curious, sometimes a little restless and usually happy. I love to do new things. I play tennis, dance and swim. In the meantime I like to read, learn, meditate, do some research and write very short articles.

For a long time I was a member of global freeloaders and I received people from different places, Australia, Taiwan, Finland, the Philipines, Germany and United Kingdom. Great experiences. Never I went myself to others yet. Now I have plenty of free time and I'm exited to meet new people in cities I plan to visit, to share a part of our lives, to learn about you. Meeting people gives an unique insight in experiences new ideas, and local culture. As I'm a solo traveler I really appreciate the community of travelers that offer a save and warm place to stay. Sharing my house always was enjoyable and interesting. I loved these visits. It takes a little courage to ask others to host me now.

I love the guitar music my son writes and music my friends play for me.

I can tell you something about the history of The Hague, nice biking tours, places to eat, beautiful places to visit in the Netherlands and we can share experiences with traveling, writing, food, biking, swimming, modern philosophy, poetry, education, adhd. I could teach you if you like some Dutch language, doing research, organising festival or editing texts.

I really appreciate your hospitality. It's okay if you are busy and don't spend much time with me, I'm used to finding my way, but I enjoy when there is an opportunity to meet, have a talk, cook or drink something together or when you have some advice for local hotspots or trips. I love to stay with you and join you for a little while. I'm easy going, interested and flexible. It is kind of you to host travelers. I wouldnot be able to stay abroad as much as I like without you opening your house. Thanks!
