Hi I'm Marianne !! I am a 28 yo non binary french person (AFAB) from near Bordeaux ; I am going on a roadtrip from there, through the UK, up to Scotland soon and I'd love to meet some of you during my trip ! :)
I travelled often with my family or my friends, in Europe and more far away. I want to explore more this part of Europe because I've been there few times and I loved the landscapes and the cultures.
I am nearly fluent in english but I would like to take the opportunity of my trip to practice my speaking ability.
I am currently doing a gap year during medschool, I am going to be a GP and want to specialise myself in queer people health care. I love to connect with nature and animals <3 dogs and cows are one of my special interest haha.
I do enjoy very much crafts and art (I draw, paint, do blockprint, sew, do crochet, etc...), trying to push myself to read more during my trip and love cinema (fantasy like LOR, sci-fi, and others). I enjoy music and I sing from time to time ! Interested in sustainability, I'm trying to make my own clothes, etc.
By the way I am vegetarian, I don't smoke but can enjoy few drinks in good company ! I like to cook and take care of others, so I'd love to offer to cook a good meal for my hosts! :)

I am quite a chill person I think, I like to connect with people but keeping sure everybody's boundaries are respected and I like to take a bit of rest from time to time from social interactions ; I appreciate a good promenade in nature talking about life as much as going to dance at the club with a group of good friend !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I discovered couch surfing years ago from my big sister who did a solo trip through Asia and used couchsurfing a lot.
When she came back at my parent's she wanted to return the favor by hosting couchsurfers in our house.
So naturally when I decided to go on my own roadtrip to the UK/Scotland I thought about logging into the website so I can travel and connect with locals peoples !
It's very important to me to be interested as much as I can in the culture of where I'm travelling ; I like the opportunity of connecting with people this way.
Also, I'm travelling with my little van, so I can put myself in a corner of your garden I'll be just fine ! :)
