Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i've only surfed once, with louie in thailand, and that was amazing. i've met a few other surfers and had a couple of days out in nottingham with some of them.

Music, Movies, and Books

arcade fire, david bowie, radiohead, dolly parton, lou reed, bob marley, neil young, yeah yeah yeahs, the cure, the incredible string band, sufjan stevens, patrick wolf, rage, fleetwood mac, plan b, the smiths, bombaby bicycle club, that kinda stuff.

lots of my favourite films are either by the coen brothers, tarantino or danny boyle, i like michael moore and john pilger documentaries. two films that i wish everyone in the world had to watch are the union and the yes men fix the world.

my favourite books are the catcher in the rye, lolita, ham on rye by bukowski, down and out in paris and london and everything i've ever read by oscar wilde.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

a skydive in new zealand over franz josef glaciers as the sun was rising!

i want to meet loads of really different people so i can learn lots of different things, even if it's little things like being introduced to new music and books. i'd love to be able to help people with their english and would like to learn some bits of other languages and get better at french.
