Hola!
I'm Mariano, I'm 35 years old and I currently live in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

I grew up in Buenos Aires, the capital city of Argentina. I studied and worked there for many years until, back in 2015, I decided to start a new way of living. I moved to Copenhagen, Denmark, where I worked as a chef in a restaurant. After that amazing experience, I started volunteering, working in farms and taking care of gardens, animals and travelling all over Europe and America for a couple of years.

I am vegetarian and my passion for animals, nature and people makes me embrace life everyday. I'm a very happy, adventurous and curious person. I always like knowing new places, people from all over the world and listening to their stories and life experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think there's no better way to get to know a place by listening and learning from the people who lives there. From all the places I've been to, the best and most interesting stories came from all that beautiful people who hosted me. I made a lot of good friends living that way (humans and animals).

Eventually, I would love to receive and offer company and accommodation for travelers.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really enjoy music. I grew up listening to my dad's records which made me very curious about old bands and musicians but also encouraged me to always look for new sounds. I go to concerts all the time.
Photography is also my passion, that's why I like walking around with my camera, finding hidden spots and situations.
I feel art, that's why I love movies so much. Cinema always takes me to another dimension. Everyday, all the time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

All through this last years I've known a lot of beautiful people and places. I've shared experiences with them and received and absorved constant knowledge from nature, particularly. I've changed my perspective on life, on myself.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to share my favorite things and life experiences to everybody and listen to their life stories as well.
I can also teach some Spanish and, of course, would love to cook and keep learning vegetarian and vegan dishes!
