Me llamo Mariano, y una de mis mayores pasiones es viajar, y tuve la suerte de recorrer gran parte de mi país, en especial el Norte, y otros paises de Sudamérica tales como Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador y Colombia, y también, Europa!
Además de haber estudiado Ingeniería Civil, también me dediqué a hacer cursos y talleres de fotografía, tanto digital como análogica, desde hace unos años.
Uno de mis mayores intereses, además de viajar y la fotografía, es poder apreciar y llegar a conocer más sobre lo referido al arte (ya sea fotografía, pintura, cine, etc).

My name is Mariano, I was born and I live (used to ;) ) in Buenos Aires, and one of my biggest passions is travelling, especially in my country ( I really love travelling to the nort of Argentina) and in South America (Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador y Perú), and also Europe!

I studied Civil Engineering, but nowadays my main interest are travelling and Photography, in special Analogic and Pinhole photography, and I started to do some courses and workshops a few years ago.

I also want to travel, as a way to know more about art (paintings, photographys, and also movies), and now more about the diferents countries, through the art.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Unos años atrás, decidí tomarme un tiempo, y estuve viajando alrededor de un año por Europa, conociendo lugares, su cultura y su historia, y creo que hacerlo mediante couchsurfing, fue una gran experiencia, conociendo gente local, que nos puede mostrar las cosas de otra manera, de una forma mucho más auténtica.

Después de casi 3 años viajando y viviendo en Nueva Zelanda, es momento de volver a viajar por Argentina!! =)

I decided to take some time a couple of years ago, to travel around Europe for one year, and I would like to know more about the places, culture and history, and I think that one of the best way to do it, is with local people, with people who knows about the places and the people living there.

Now, after three years living and travelling in New Zealand, it is time to travel again around Argentina!! =)

With CS, being hosted and receiving people in my house, I knew a lot of great and really interesting persons, in very diferent places, and I am sure that it's an excellent way to travell and to share stories and life experiences.

I would like to improve mi french and english skills, and maybe, learn a bit about other languages, and I also would like to keep learning about photography, and some alternative processes, to make copies.

I am always interested to know more about the history and the political situation of the different places, all over the world.

Me gustaría mejorar mi nivel de Francés e Ingles, y porque no, aprender otros idiomas, así como también me interesa mucho seguir aprendiendo cada vez más sobre la fotografía, tanto de historia como de técnica, en particular, todo lo que tiene que ver con la fotografía análogica, y los procesos alternativos para copiar fotos, como por ejemplo Papel Salado (Salt Paper) y Cianotipo (Cyanotype).

También me encantaría conocer mas sobre la historia y la situación política en todo el mundo.

Me gustaría compartir mis conocimientos sobre fotografía, en particular lo que tiene que ver con la fotografía analógica, lo que tiene que ver con el revelado de la película, el trabajo con los negativos para obtener una copia de la fotografía, ya que es realmente apasionante poder trabajar con medios físicos en una era de la fotografía tan pero tan digital.

KNOWLEDGE OF TRIPS AND PLACES IN ARGENTINA, SOUTHAMERICA AND EUROPE.

Por otra parte también puedo compartir muchos datos sobre lugares y viajes en Sudamérica, especialmente en la región de la Puna de Argentina y Bolivia (Jujuy, Salta, Uyuni, Etc), y también Europa.

I really like talking about Art, Photography and Cinema, so a meal is always a good excuse to share some words and some talkings about the life, about the amazing places that we can visite in the world, and of course, about football!!

I also can share a lot of stories about the places I have visited in the last year travelling around Europe!!

También me gusta mucho la fotografía y el arte, así que siempre se puede compartir una buena comida y una buena charla sobre arte, fotografía, cine, y también puedo compartir muchas historias sobre los diferentes lugares que visité viajando por Europa, y por supuesto, siendo argentino, una charla sobre fútbol nunca puede faltar!!
