Hi! We are a Canadian family and we love to travel! I am Colombian and my husband is Burmese and our baby ddugher was born in Canada. We like sports and languages and we love learning about other cultures and traditions. We are very easy going! We would like to make friends with people from all over the world.

We love to travel and learn about cultures. Wether it is by hosting you or visiting your home country we want to share with you. We want to share traditional foods, go to the traditional places and live a little like the locals do. You just cannot get that experience from hotels or rental places. We want to develop friendships. If you just want a free place to stay you are not here for the right reasons.

We like snowboarding (I teach snowboarding), I like doing yoga, I am long distance runner and love doing marathon running! we love travelling and learning languages. My husband loves sports specially soccer. We have two cats, they are friendly.

In terms of music I am very open minded but I love to dance (the Latina in me does). So if I can dance to the music it's even better! Love salsa, merengue, bachata.

In terms of books, love the classics. Currently reading the 3 musketeers. The scarlet letter, the portrait of Dorian gray, Anne Frank's diary, the great gatsby. I also like magical realism Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Isabel Allende. Also loved DaVinci's code.

In terms of movies I guess I am not picky I will be entertained by pretty much anything. I enjoy Sci-fi and scary movies also those with action. Love the movies with strong female roles.

If you decide to stay with us we would like to spend some time with you sharing the Canadian ways. We both work full time but we will try to spend as much time as possible with you. We can cook some meals together and have a BBQ on our backyard and pool. We can drive you downtown and when possible pick you up and drop you off at the airport. I love to bake so I can make some nice sweets for you. We do have two cats so if you are allergic this might not work for you.

I teach snowboarding so in the winter I can take you to the snow hills and give you a free lesson as long as you rent your own equipment. In the summer we can hang out by the pool and get a nice tan. We can drive you downtown if the time permits.
