Hello! My name is Marie-Catherine (as you can see above)! I'm from Montreal, Canada but I'm doing an exchange in Ireland at the moment in a little town just outside of Dublin.

I've been studying English literature for the past 3 years and I will hopefully finish my bachelor degree in the upcoming year!

I'm on Couchsurfing to meet new people and hopefully make new friends (I know, very original) but also to have fun and be able to experience new places and cities in a different - less touristy way. To kind of be able to live like the locals do.. kind of?

I have a lot of interests and hobbies and they vary greatly. I love books (of course!) but also movies, music (everything except Electro, which I firmly believe is a method of torture). But it's too hard to choose... It's like asking who's your favorite child? But here's a few titles

For books; I looove The Great Gatsby, Ulysses, A Moveable Feast, Mrs. Dalloway, Frankenstein, Harry Potter, and a lot of other ones I can't remember at the moment.

Movies: Hummmm The Godfather (1&2, we all know that the 3rd one is a joke), LoTR, Moulin Rouge, Any Chaplin movies, Funny Girl, Chicago, Hocus Pocus, The Revenant......The list could go on for a very long time.
