Hey everyone!
I'm Marie and I'm 22 years old. I am a very open-minded and social person. I love to meet new people and make new friends. I like to be outdoors and enjoy hiking and also camping very much.
I love team sports like Volleyball or Basketball.
I am just now finishing up my Bachelor program where I studied management of renewable energies.
This summer I will finally see my host family from 7 years ago when I spent one year in the US. I will be traveling with my friend Monique and we want to see so many places. We will start out in NYC and make our way to LA and San Francisco. From there, we will go to Vancouver, Canada.
We would love to stay with locals who maybe can share their way of living and their culture with us! We are super excited and hope to meet you soon!

I think its the best way to travel. Meeting the locals and getting to know the culture of the country you travel to enriches me in so many ways. Couchsurfing offers me the possibility to gain much more intercultural experiences and meet new people and even friends.
This summer my friend and I will be visiting the USA and Canada. Therefore we are looking for great hosts!

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

One of the greatest things must be going on safari in Kenya. Being able to quietly observe wild animals filled me with so much joy and also respect. We saw all kinds of animals like elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes in all shapes and sizes, hippos,... the list goes on :D
Being able to share this experience with both my friends and my family was amazing.
