ABOUT ME

My name is Marie-Joelle, I'm 24 years old and live in Karlsruhe. Here I‘m Working at the Staatstheater Karlsruhe as an actress.

In general, I think I'm a very friendly, easy going person. I love deep talks, but also enjoy the silence. I think it's very important to cultivate it. Maybe it's also because sometimes I don't know how to put my thoughts in the right words ( :o) ). I love to watch the people doing stuff. And learn from them. Their gestures, feelings, shapes, language.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I think it's like a challenge for me. When you go to a hostel or a hotel it's like you stay in your comforte zone. There's just the difference that you're in another country but you feel the same.
And I want to overcome my comfort zone and the fear of the unknown.

I read the book 'slow travel' and it was a new motivation for me to leave behind my security to hurl myself into an adventure.

I'm grateful for each new experience.

I love any form of music, books and movies. I just have some favourites like German old school rap, folk, jazz, soul.
Theatre.
Books like slow travel, into the wild, which inspire me and kept me out of the comfort zone. And current I really love Heiner Müller.
