À propos de moi

CURRENT MISSION

Love life; move forward.

ABOUT ME

I am an explorer; I am curious about life and am constantly seeking new experiences. I am friendly, confident and enthusiastic about most things. My most defining feature? I suppose it's that I am talkative (although I can also be a good listener) and don't find it hard to approach people. I also tread a fine line between being very logical and whimsical - it certainly has made for an interesting life thus far.

PHILOSOPHY

One must desire something to be alive.

Centres d'intérêt

I love meeting people from other parts of the world and gain energy from this, but I also need to pull back once in a while and recharge with a good novel, writing in my journal or time in nature. I am very active - I run, kayak (ocean), hike, snowboard, and dance. I also have five songs I can play on the guitar but that's not very impressive or interesting so I don't know why I've even mentioned this. I also speak German, English, French and some Spanish...

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Reading - one of the passions of my life.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

1. I was snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia when a loggerheaded turtle surfaced infront of me (about one metre away), looked at me, seemingly nodded and then swam away. It felt like I was being acknowledged by someone who is incredibly important.

2. In 2009 I climbed Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain. It is one of the hardest things I have ever done, both physicially and psychologically, and it was something tried to forget right after I got back down. Now that I look back at it, however, it is something I am extremely proud of. The most breath taking part of it - the stars! The air at that height is so clear that the stars actually twinkle. Also, the way the air quality changes as you come back down is stunning. I never knew that air could be delicious - it's amazing what a few plants can do!
