Hello, I am Marie.
After a long number of years of work, I am now retired, enjoying my life and freedom.
I am more into the art side of things with a particular interest for textiles, colours, prints, patterns, ethnic, antique and contemporary.
I like experimenting with everything, from cooking and food to discovering new places and things.
I like bookstores, art galleries, antique and vintage shops, outdoors markets, nice local cafés and restaurants. I support small/family businesses.
I have seen a lot of the world. I always enjoy returning to my favourite places. I like places with character, places that have something particular about them.
Other interests: ships and harbours, motor racing, aviation, airports around the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Trying to find hosts in places where there are no hotels. Meeting people from different parts of the world. Trying to help fellows from around the world, giving them advice.
