About Me

I quited my job in June 2023 to travel the world for a year. I started as a volunteer for a few months in Europe in self-sufficient biological farms and as a nanny to challenge myself and develop new skills. I also got closer to my innerself with yoga, breathing and meditation retreats in SE Asia, which I would be so happy to talk about, but I am also super eager to learn more! I finish this amazing experience as a student to learn spanish in Guatemala.

In my free time, I love to cook, it relaxes me. Besides, I love to go fishing, do yoga and acroyoga, go camping, visit museums, go for a walk, hike, or hop on my paddleboard. I am always keen to go see a sunset or to do anything related to culture.

When I travel, my favorite things to do is finding good place to try local food. I also love to get lost, walking in the city. Funny thing : I chose to do a small trip in Turkey in October before heading to Indonesia just to try food because I saw a picture of my friend at a restaurant there and it seems delicious (hahaha oups). I obviously did a lot of food tours and tried as many local dishes as I could in the local restaurants all over my year abroad! That being said, I would be more than happy to cook a meal for/with you!

If you want to get to know a smiling traveler, always keen to discover new things, who love cultural things, with whom you can talk about anything, I am your girl!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I chose to travel for a year to see beautiful landscapes, but most importantly to connect with locals. For me, travelling is about people you meet along the way!

Interests

Meditation, yoga, reading, learn new things

Music, Movies, and Books

The first biography I read was Anne Frank. It gave me the spark for history and biographies! If you have any movies or books recommandations regarding history, feel free to inbox me. I am passionate about history, this is why I loooove Europe (+ the architecture is AMAZING). Me and my ex bf choose Poland for our first travel together because we wanted to know more about WW2 and despite the heaviness and sadness of the events, it was an amazing travel. Polish are so kind! 🫶

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hike the Acatenango Volcano in Guatemala! It was the most challenging thing I did in my entire life... and... I didn't see any lava because of a big eruption that happened 3 weeks before! 😂
