Hi! I am 21 years old and I am really lucky enough to have travelled a lot even though I am young. I am a french student and I am finishing two licenses this year in Canada as an exchange student! I study English and language sciences, and I want in the future to teach french and english all over the world, because I believe in the important role of education. I will come back to France in June and I hope I'll have the time to visit a lot of things before.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was used to go in hostels but some friends of mine talked to me about couch surfing, I was surprised a wonderful thing like this does exist! I want to meet people during my trip but it is not always easy, so I think it is a good solution to travel in a different way!

Interests

I'm fond of sports! I practice fencing (yeah so french...), climbing, running, skiing, and now thanks to Canadians, ice-skating!
I also love writing and reading, there is always a good book to guide my trip. I am particularly in love with poetry (especially french and japanese). I love Lamartine.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't really know much about movies but I'm a good audience! On the other hand, I can talk to you about music during hours. Travelling is music, and music is travelling. I love classical music, jazz, soul, blues, rock and indie rock. I always hope to find the smoky downtown jazz bar of your city! I love the Black Keys, the XX and Seal. My favorite piece is the Symphony From the New World by Dvorak.
I've studied literature for years so I can also talk to you about books (maybe too much actually) and I am always happy to discover new books. I'm one of those people who leaves books everywhere in the hope someone will discover it with a smile on his/her face. I love Jonathan Swift, La Boétie and Marcel Duchamp.
