my name is Marie and I'm from Germany. I love to travel around the world and explore hidden places. In 2019 I'm going to make a world trip together with my boyfriend once around the world and hope, I will make lots of new friends, see different cultures and meet lots of couchsurfer!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of meeting new people, see how they live and thereby explore their culture in a "real" way. This experience is something you cannot read in a book but have to undergo in person.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've volunteered in a factory for disabled people and therefore know that little gestures can mean so much to people and that there isn't much needed to feel happy. Frugality should be taken more to heart.

I've visited lots of national parks and love to see the diversity the nature is offering. I've seen geysers, walked through sequoia trees or hiked in the Grand Canyon.
