I am Marie, 21 years old and I live in Germany on a horse farm in a town close to Siegen. After completing my A levels I went to New Zealand for a year. Now I am back home and studying nutritional science and workin half time.

I started couchsurfing during my saty in New Zealand and I really like the idea of getting to know locals, exchange stories. I really enjoyed spending time with all these different people and they helped me quite a lot with my travels.

I listen to nearly every type of music from Awolnation over Imagine Dragons and Papa Roach.
The last books I've read were the ones of the Song of ice and fire books series by GRRM. So yeah I am a Game of Thrones fan.
I generally love movies!

I have participated in the castlepoint beachraces during my New Zealand stay and I've been swimming in glowing plancton up at Raglan, which was pretty amazing and made me feel as if I was in "The life of Pie".
