We recently moved from Dublin, Ireland, where we met and lived together, to Lyon.

Matt likes to sing a lot and tells a lot of very bad puns - since moving to France, he has even mastered the bilingual puns...

Marie doesn't like to be cold, one of the reasons we moved to France, the other being Matt learning French.

We love to be on the move and explore!

We have an adorable little puppy now sharing our life. Púca is 11months right now (September 2018), loves meeting new and old friends and shows it by letting out whimpers of joy and jumping for cuddles when you first arrive. He is also mad for a good swim so he will be able to show you all the best puppy puddles in the city (ie the many beautiful fountains...) as well as all the rivers and lakes in and around Lyon.

We usually smoke in the apartment, although we're happy to take our guilty pleasure outside on the balcony while you're with us.

Music, Movies, and Books

Matt only reads Wired Magazine, Plato's Republic or books on Diagrams That Changed the World, and he hates them. But when he is done with those, he likes to read any books that fall on his lap or that people recommend, from sci-fi to literary classics, much like Marie.

Some films we enjoyed: Baby Driver (E. Wright) was class, Waking Life (R. Linklater), anything by Emir Kusturica, Peril Jeune (C. Klapisch), Mummy, anything by any Anderson director (Wes or Paul Thomas), Wong Kar Wai etc...

The No smocking Orchestra, Pink Floyd, Caravan Palace, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Tokimonsta, Flylo, Action Bronson (Marie knows him as Magic Brendan), Robert Glasper, Soha, Jefferson Airplane and many many many many many many more. Some we don't even know yet.
