Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I joined when I was traveling between coffee farms with my cousin in Ecuador and Colombia, and we both found staying with people from a community so much more rewarding and interesting than staying in hostels. I want to meet people and get a more intimate feel for places through the eyes of the people who live there! I'd love to host fellow travelers as well, and give them the unique experience of Kingston through my experiences and favourite spots.

I was invited to be present when my friend gave birth! She had her child in my house, just with midwives, her partner, and another friend. It was a really special day to have shared. I guess that's not something I've done, per se, but I do hold it dearly.
