Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet local people, who are really the best sources of advise and comfort when arriving as a total stranger in a new city. This gives a completely different perspective than just visiting the city while staying in an hotel and making an in-depht analysis of the local Lonely Planet.. I like the idea of being a traveller instead of a tourist.

Exchanging anecdotes, moments of life, experiences or views and perspectives on things is what I am looking for.

But I am also willing to seize the moment, relax , have a cold beer and have a good laugh.
