Actualizo mi perfil constantemente, así que si me hiciste un requerimiento o revisaste mi perfil hace una semana o más, quizás debas revisarlo nuevamente antes de hospedarte conmigo, porque soy una persona diferente, cada vez.

No hay palabra secreta en mi perfil así que depende de ti si sigues leyendo, o no.

1. A veces tengo roommate, y a veces tengo habitación privada disponible. De que la habitación esté ocupada, te puedes acomodar en un colchón, en buen estado, en el área compartida, o si traes tu bolsa de dormir, igual eres bienvenide. Si tienes la suerte de ocupar la habitación, ni se te ocurra cerrar o asegurar la puerta: mi casa es un lugar de espacios abiertos, siempre.
2. Por el momento no tengo muebles en el área compartida. Está el espacio para el colchón, un par de sillas, mis plantas y una espléndida vista. Si gustas estirarte tengo además un mat.

Totalmente vacunada contra el covid (con 4ta dosis de refuerzo)

Llevo una vida muy sencilla.

Soy una embajadora de CouchSurfing sin embajada 😊. Para mí, la acción es incidencia y la incidencia siempre es política, amo lo político. Soy activista, actualmente milito en un colectivo por la ruptura de la hegemonía conceptual binaria en torno al derecho por la identidad de género. Amo lo artístico: me gusta mucho bailar: salsa, ritmos afrodescendientes, twerking, están entre mis favoritos, me gusta el voguing y el lipsync. Fui drag queen, hice teatro drag, fui parte de un coro que cerró por la pandemia (estoy loca por volver a cantar). Estuve aprendiendo a patinar un tiempo, y jugué fútbol, mucho tiempo, me gusta practicar e innovar la meditación y el yoga. Amo la cerveza, la comida en todas sus formas, la del mercado o la plaza o las "huecas" de comida y la gourmet, amo el vino, viajar, la playa, los stickers para las puertas, muebles o paredes, los vasos con sellos de países y bailar.... Y...¿mencioné la playa?

CouchSurfing NO ES un hospedaje gratuito, así que si eso es lo único que buscas, por favor te invito a pensarlo bien antes de hacerme un requerimiento de estancia.

CouchSurfing SÍ ES es una forma solidaria de hospedar y ser hospedada, de crear redes, de hacer amistad, de apoyar a valientes viajeres que venciéndolo todo se lanzan a recorrer el mundo y tienen tanto por contar y compartir; es una forma de romper prejuicios, de aprender, de abrir la mente y el corazón. No es un voluntariado, pero si hay algo en que puedas ayudar, ayudas sin dudar, así que si resulta que no encuentras papel higiénico en el baño y lo requieres, ya sabes cuál es tu aporte necesario al espacio 😉. En mi casa es bienvenide sólo quien sabe compartir lo que sabe hacer bien y dar bien.... Mmm... ¿mencioné que me gusta la playa?

No me molestan los requerimientos de último minuto (de hecho son a los que mejor me acomodo), los perfiles sin referencias previas, o si decidiste no vacunarte contra el covid. Conecto siempre y mejor con la intención de un mensaje de requerimiento personal y motivado o con un perfil ampliamente descrito (cuando existe). Mas, si llega a pasar que eres de las personas que no les gusta escribir sobre sí misma, o no tienes ánimo para hacer un requerimiento con intención, o completar tu perfil, pero sabes que eres una persona plena y linda de conocer, y no tienes dónde dormir o tuviste una emergencia y estás cerca de mí, vente, no importa la hora. Si tu perfil aquí en CS tiene la información suficiente, si tus motivaciones de viaje son lindas y si siento una muy buena vibra en ti, siempre tendrás un espacio en mi casa. No exijo a nadie que escriba una "palabra clave" para decidir si la acepto o no. Puede incluso quedarse más días si así lo necesita y tengo disponibilidad, y puedo también decir en mi referencia que no lo volvería a hospedar si así lo siento y sin culpa alguna. Todo depende del tipo de perfil que tenga y de la calidad de huésped que sea.

Soy formal en el procedimiento de CS para pedir hospedaje: SOLICITA TU ESTANCIA A TRAVÉS DE LA APP, O ENVÍA EL MENSAJE A TRAVÉS DE LA APP, SI NO PUEDES USAR LA APP, ESCRÍBEME Y ENVÍAME EL ENLACE A TU PERFIL DE CS A TRAVÉS DE MIS REDES SOCIALES. NECESITO VERIFICAR QUE EXISTES EN CS. Por otra parte, si ves las fechas bloqueadas en mi calendario es porque no puedo hospedar en esas fechas, procura ser formal en ese sentido; pero, nuevamente, si es una emergencia, no dudes en escribirme a mis otras redes. Las referencias son importantes y necesarias, pues al ser una usuaria no-pago, tu referencia permite que me mantenga activa como usuaria "verificada"; ergo, además es lo menos que puedes hacer por la persona que te está hospedando, escribe tu referencia a tiempo, no me hagas pedírtelo 2 veces por favor 🙏🏼.

Sé lo frustrante que es pedir hospedaje cuando viajas: perfiles que dicen que están "aceptando huéspedes" y no te responden o te niegan el hospedaje porque están con "casa llena" o con otros requerimientos de CS y eso nunca se refleja en las referencias; perfiles activos el día de hoy que no te responden al requerimiento que hiciste hace un mes; perfiles que dicen estar aquí para ayudar, compartir y aprender, y son unas "divas" a quienes debes primero complacer en saberte de memoria sus requisitos y exigencias para aceptarte. Si sucediese que no te respondo pronto en CS (pues el contacto a través de la app de CS es imprescindible, como dije antes); entonces, si demoro en responder en CS, pues escríbeme al Messenger de Facebook o al Instagram @mariefrancicrdv. Siempre estoy por allí. Puedo decir sí o no, pero siempre respondo y procuro hacerlo pronto.

Pd. Motivada a iniciar la práctica del nudismo/naturalismo en casa, es una curiosidad que tengo desde hace mucho tiempo. IMPORTANTE: Ninguna persona está obligada a desnudarse mientras se hospede conmigo, ni tiene que sentirse amenazada o expuesta si yo lo hago, mi respeto hacia mis huéspedes es lo más importante para mí. Comento lo del nudismo, porque sería fantástico recibir personas que practiquen o se sientan cómodas intentándolo, y además porque me gusta andar "llucha" (desnuda en kichwa) y sin ocultarme en mi casa.

Por otra parte, en casa no se cierran ni aseguran las puertas de las habitaciones privadas (cuando éstas están disponibles) esto como una muestra más del compartir abiertamente en el espacio compartido.

Como quizás habrás notado, también amo escribir.

*Update from Aug 2021- on*
1. The private room sometimes is not available. In that case, you can accommodate yourself in a decent mattress in the shared area, or if you bring a sleeping bag, well, it's solved. 🙈 If you're lucky enough in order to occupy the private room, you're not allowed to close the door. My place is an open doors surface, always.
2. The shared surface has no furniture in it.

My life style is so simple.

I consider myself as a CS Ambassador with no any Embassy (for now). I am a Political activist. Every decision in our lives is political, even the decision of not talking about politics or being apolitical. I have a full time job for a government institution.

Years ago I was tango dancer and also a drag queen. I used to play soccer and belong to a choir. I love beer, wine, dancing, (salsa, tropical, afro, twerking are ones of my favorite rhythms), partying (but these ultimate seasons have been characterized of times in which I mainly want to stay at home sharing quality time there) and traveling. I love the beach 🏖️. I love food in all its forms: from street or market foods, known as "huecas" in Ecuador to gourmet food. I do practice yoga and meditation. I have practiced nudism. I have fallen in love while using CS, so, why shouldn't I talk about it if I do strongly believe that CS is about people, not about destinations, and if I believe in chemistry, energies and vibes? 🤷🏼‍♀️

CouchSurfing IS NOT that app that you use to find a place to stay for free, so, please rethink your request to me if that is what you're looking for.

YES, I do CS because I like to share with people and I expect that those people want to share with me. I only receive people who feel my place as their own home and if there is something you can do to help, you don't hesitate about doing it (so, if you don't find toilet paper in the bathroom, or olive oil in the kitchen, and if you need it, you already know what you're invited to provide to it 💡). If you think that there are something you do really well, and maybe I do need that something on my place and in my life, and you are allowed to share it with me, do not hesitate to do it, please. I don't want strangers at my place 🏠 and I don't want to be a stranger at yours.

I am already aware about how frustrating is to request to stay with someone who puts in their profile that they're receiving guests and their negative response to yours is "my house is full at this moment" or "I'm out of the city at this moment", or they just don't respond to your request made one month ago, but they still appear active by today. For that reason, I do agree with last minute requests, no previous references profiles and/or people who decided not to get any COVID vaccine.

Intention matters! I do connect better with well motivated requests and enough fulfilled profiles. But, if happens that you just don't like to write about yourself, but you still consider yourself as a cool person to meet, and you don't have where to sleep or if there is an emergency, just write to me here. If you can't write through the app chat option, please write me to my Instagram or Telegram @marifranci_ec, including the link of your CS profile, (I do still need who you are in CS, so, having a CS profile of yours that I can review, is a must) 💡

NOTE: I'm very formal about the CS procedures. If you see in my calendar the dates are blocked it is because I am not hosting in those dates. So, please try to use the request option to do your request. If you have enough profile information, if you have shared your CS motivations, purposes and spirit, and/or if I can feel your good vibes and good spirit, you always will have a place at my place. By the way, references are the equivalent to a payment on CS. Those help me to keep my profile active as "verified"; so, please write yours on time, don't make me to ask for them twice.

Pd. Interested about beginning in the practice of nudism/naturalism while being at home. Of course, no one is commanded or obligated to do it while staying here and please don't feel unsafe or exposed if I practice it. My respect for my guests is always a must. But it would be great to start hosting nudist people at home who can help me to enjoy and feel comfortable with this practice. On the other hand, doors of private rooms (when available) do not get closed or locked as a proof of sharing safely in a safe shared place.

The best location in Quito (downtown) but maybe sometimes it would be needed a face mask/earpods. Hot/cold water. Kitchen. Strong Wifi signal. Private room (sometimes)

La mejor ubicación en la ciudad (centro de la ciudad pero si tienes el sueño muy ligero quizás debas usar antifaz y tapones de oídos). Agua caliente/fría, cocina, Internet. Habitación privada (a veces).
