ABOUT ME

I've been called a renaissance woman, free spirit, and philomath. I've never bothered getting a driver's license and sometimes bike 20-40 miles a week, weather permitting. I write code, build websites, and solve problems for a living. Life is good.

I may not be able to outrun the zombies but I have lots of random semi-useful skills, some knowledge of science, and have been told that I'm a natural with a gun, though I've not fired one for a decade. When it comes time to rebuild society, I have something of a green thumb, am not squeamish about blood, and have also done book binding, crochet, knitting, sewing, fabric/basket weaving, loom beading, pyrography, pottery, glass etching, screen printing, soldering, woodworking, metalworking, oldschool black and white chem photography, teaching, and much, much more.

My friends come from all walks of life and may seem like freaks, geeks, nerds and weirdos, but most are very well educated. I've dined with politicians and the homeless, danced with hippies and schmoozed with hardcore religious nuts. An open mind keeps my life interesting.
