I live quietly and simply. I am a meditative compassionate friendly introvert. I grew up in Europe and moved to the US in my late teens to go to school and ended up getting married, having little US citizens, and staying. I love VT where I raised my kids and found ways to be and work that suit me.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I believe in sharing resources and generosity. So far, I absolutely LOVE all the people who have stayed with me. Couchsurfing has enriched my life. I wish I could host more than I do, but my life is not always conducive to hosting. My apologies if your request has to be denied, it always pains me to do so.

Intereses

I have meditated most of my life. I have taught forms of meditation, including active meditation, presence meditation, loving-kindness meditation.

In the past I worked as a mediator in and out of the court system. I noticed many times people sabotaging the agreements they came up with. I decided that inner conflict is at the root of outer conflict and started focussing more on addressing inner conflict than interpersonal conflict. I now teach people how find inner peace, love and accept themselves, heal and integrate past and current trauma, and embody presence.

From a place of inner (spiritual) well-being, we are in a better position to address healing our physical and emotional health, and work on interpersonal, social justice, environmental, and political issues.
