About Me

Dear you: I am very much interested in life and things that bring people life. For me, that's mostly food and art. Even better if had at the same time.

I'm majoring in Arts & Humanities and doing a minor in Philosophy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There's no point visiting a place without poking through its nooks and crannies. The Shanghainese call them longtangs-- the alleyways where locals gossip and where life pulses. It's become for me a metaphor for the intimate spaces in a city where tourists shun, and where locals know to navigate best.

I'm on couchsurfing because it's the only way to befriend a place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've circumnavigated the perimeter of Singapore on foot in three days and three nights. I did it again recently, barefoot.

Teach, Learn, Share

Talk to me about your favourite artist, writer, director!
Tell me the boldest thing you've done, the one song that you play on repeat, the most bizarre experience you've had!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can show you how pictures become strokes, strokes become characters, and characters become a language. Chinese is gorgeous.
