Overview
About Me
I'm fascinated and passionate about people, relationships, connection and their power to create positive change. I've found the outdoors, yoga, dance, good conversation, and exploration are medicines for my spirit; that as beautiful and rich as life is, none of us make it through without taking serious hits, so learning how to heal is essential to building the kind of life we want, and becoming the kind of people we aspire to be.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I come from a fantastic community of hard-working and inspired people, yet I have an unshakable longing to wander and discover. I hope to use this site to travel and explore in not only a more affordable manner but in a fashion that facilitates the kind of human connection that has empowered my life thus far. I want to see more than beautiful vistas, I want a glimpse of community and humanity outside the borders and comfort of the home I know so well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I donated a kidney the summer of 2014, which most people think is the most amazing thing of done and it does continue to effect my life in ways I could not have anticipated. The thing that comes to mind for me though, is a simple small holistic retreat I organized and facilitated in the spring of 2014. It was incredibly rewarding on a personal level to watch the effects of holistic connection and attention on the lives of community members I know and care for.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good company, conversation, and shared activities. I can also share some yoga guidance if you're so inclined and while I'm no foodie, I enjoy the creativity and connection in preparing and sharing home cooked meals.
