ABOUT ME

Hello! We are the Oosterbaantjes. A family of four. Taco, Marije, our daughter Floortje (3) and baby Gijs. We live in a house near the citycentre of Leiden. We love it here!
I am a stay at home mum and studying to become a teacher. Taco is a self employed copywriter. Floortje is a supercutie who loves to cuddle with her teddy, likes to play with Duplo and most of all: play outside in the garden or visit the little animals in the farm. Gijs is a cutie-pie who's always smiling. Warning, they are up early in de morning...
Yesss, we're just a typical cheesy happy family and we love each other a lot ;)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are welcoming travelers, especially other families to stay at our house. We live in Leiden, 10 minutes walk of the town centre.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Marije couchsurfed in the UK and it was a blast! I went on a journey alone by motorcycle and it was really lovely to have a warm place to sleep where i felt welcome.

I haven't been here on cs for a while, we had some busy (fun) years, moving to different places, getting married, raising a baby, having another one, but now there's room again in our lives for couchsurfing.

兴趣

We love children and meeting other people. We like: the market on saturday morning. Having coffee and lemonade in the city. We like making tours with our classic Italian scooters. We often visit the farm to admire the animals. I like handcrafts such as sawing. I am a volanteer in the refugeescentre.

I taught a couchsurfer how to ride a dutch bicycle, that was fun. You're welcome in our little boat for a touristic tour trough the area. Keukenhof is only 10 km from Leiden. Children can play in our little dwarf-playhouse. There is an nice playgarden around the corner. With even a (free) swimmingpool in the summer.
