ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Marije, I'm 26 years old and live in the Netherlands. I just discovered how much I love traveling and how much of the world i still want to see! I'm a fun and outgoing person who likes to meet new people, city's and environments. I love hiking and other outdoor activities and sports, but you can also find me in the middle of the dance floor!

PHILOSOPHY

I think it is important that you do things you love to do and do them with the people you love. Why keep the job you don't like if you can quite and get a job that you do like? Better regret the things you've done, than regret the things you wished you've done!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I went couchsurfing down the west coast of Amerika in the summer of 2014. It was my first experience and I loved it! I met so many wonderful people who I am still in contact with and consider friends now!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Great experience from last year! I visited places I would never visit without the hosts I've been to. I saw beautiful things, met beautiful people and had an amazing time! That's why I want to do it again this summer.

Interests

I love all kinds of sports! From the gym to mountainbiking to hiking etc. I also love to go out and experience new things and meet new people. Reading is also one of my hobby's.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading, watching movies and listening to music. Music can really touch me. I don't have a specific type of music I listen to, i'm always up for new discoveries and like a lot of different styles.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming with dolphins. They are amazing and seem to have some kind of power to make humans feel special and at ease. I could not stop smiling for the rest of the day!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can over you some fun conversations, can cook you a nice meal and might even teach you some moves you can use on the dance floor! :)
