I'm a fun, open minded, social Dutchie and have been traveling for almost 2 years. I started off with working on a boat in France for 2 months, went to Australia for 11 months, traveled to Thailand and Vietnam for 2 months and have now been living at home for a while. I have also been to Germany on a workaway and have just gotten back from a volunteer program in Poland. My next big trip: Canada!

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I love how couchsurfing let's you meet the locals in a place, instead of only meeting travelers in hostels.
I like spending time with people that I would normally not meet and hear different stories from different cultures.

I'd love to learn a new language, instrument or even a different way of cooking! And I can offer you my personality (I've heard I have a catchy laugh) my cooking skills (it's not exceptional, but I don't think it's not bad), my cleaning/tidying skills or I can even babysit!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

One of the things I still can't believe I've done: I went skydiving. Still don't know why I did it. Or how I even jumped out of the plane. Won't ever do it again. But hey! At least now I've got a fun story to tell.

I've also had a snake around my neck. Twice. Again: Don't know why. Wouldn't do it again. I'm not really scared of them, but I'm also not particularly fond of them either.

I went snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef. Which was amazing. Those colors! Those fish! The reef! Wow.

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

I like to cook. I love finding new recipes and cooking different things. While traveling I normally stay in hostels (with shitty kitchens), so I would be happy to use your kitchen and cook you a meal!!

Cleaning or babysitting is also on my list of things that I can offer :). Or I can try to learn you a bit of Dutch (neuken in de keuken?).
