I'm a wandering dreamer from the Netherlands. Currently I don’t really live anywhere, but Berlin still feels like home. I work summer seasons with my boyfriend at a camping resort in Italy and winters we’re mostly free to roam the globe.

I love discovering vibrant cities, hiking the most beautiful mountains, relaxing on exotic islands, learning about culture and history by exchanging stories with lovely people around the world and maybe someday settling down in a little cottage in the woods with some goats and chickens. I enjoy meeting people for a conversation, a laugh, a game or a dance, but I’m also an introvert and I like spending time alone as well.

CS is also a great place to meet people who are not travelling at the moment, but who are in for fun stuff like knitting at Ikea, playing games or just hanging out.

Intereses

I love hobbies and starting new things. For example, in Athens I took a hoop dance course and in Berlin I sang in a pop choir and I took ballet classes. It’s fun to do something a little different and getting to know sides of yourself you didn’t know they existed.

I mainly listen to indie folk, electronic/psychedelic pop, post punk, and deep/tech house.

Some movies I very much enjoyed are Moonrise Kingdom, A Clockwork Orange, I ♥ Huckabees, A Pigeon Sat on a Branch Reflecting on Existence, Captain Fantastic, The Science of Sleep, Waking Life, Requiem for a Dream, Mr. Nobody, Donnie Darko, Life of Pi, The Fountain, Fight Club, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Trainspotting, Ex Machina, Interstellar, The Room, Oldboy, Lost Highway, Black Swan, Enter the Void.

My favorite authors are Jonathan Safran Foer, Michel Houellebecq, Arnon Grunberg, Marieke Lucas Rijneveld, Haruki Murakami and Dimitri Verhulst.
