i'm Marika and i'm 24 y/o. i'm finishing my studies and writing my thesis in refugee law. traveling is more a need than a passion. i have spent the last year living and moving around Portugal, volunteering and exploring. i'm almost vegan but still open to vegetarian meals, especially when outside and in a new country. i'm interested in agricultural practices and sustainability, yoga and all spiritual practices, capoeira - which i train regularly -, playing guitar, cultural differences - i'm always amazed to listen and i'll probably ask lot of questions. i also love to spend time in nature, camping, staying in the sun, feel the wind, breathing. and play, have fun!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

i intend to travel short-distance while writing my thesis, that's why right now i cannot stop for a long time... at least not till March, when i'll graduate and fly to Brasil for a no time limit. i'd be gratefull and excited to spend some time with you, listening to your stories and learning from them, exchange ideas and humanity, sharing, giving and receiving, and just enjoying some nourishing time :)
