CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to find my place on earth where i can be of best use to God and fellow people. I still need a lot of inspiration which i'd like to get by my studies of economics, history and languages and above all by meeting people - you!

ABOUT ME

I guess, this is a good place to mention that i am a vegetarian (no meet or fish), because of various reasons (we should discuss this when we meet :-)
Right now i have the privilege to be able to live in Moscow - again. I really wanted to come back after my 6 month stay here three years ago. And hey, it feels great, a bit like coming home!:-) Right now i am trying to get to know people here - if you are interested in getting to know me, i'd be glad to hear from you or even join you on your travels! I'm excited about what might happen in the following months!

I participate by travelling and as soon as i am at home again i would be happy to host you! Unfortunately the student dorm i stay in doesn't allow guests to stay over night :-(

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Recently i stayed with a family in Durban (via Hospitality Club) who where overwhelmingly hospitable. That is how i want to become as soon as i have more than a mattress to offer! They hosted uns four days, gave us lifts everywhere and even cooked for us. That was more than we ever expected! I am generally content with a spot to sleep but i enjoy cooking with people and getting to know my hosts very much!

Interests

Basically i am interested in everything. Sometimes i love discussing politics but i am also fond of fantasy books, philosophy, Jane Austen, Rock'n Roll and Ball Room Dancing, daydreaming and hiking mountains. I love the ocean and animals and spending days in trains. I love playing the guitar and singing for hours, i like trying new things like foreign food (as long as it is vegetarian, i am afraid) or surfing. I like listening to people's experiences and getting to know every day life in other different countries...

Music, Movies, and Books

I read basically everything that comes across my way, which includes English Classics, fantasy books (lord of the rings, harry potter), historical novels, newspapers,...
Same with movies, save horror films.
I generally just love stories no matter in which form they appear!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Having a glass of wine watching the sun set on the top of a mountain in South Africa, that was amazing.
Experiencing how the kids in the children's home i worked for started to trust and respect me although my Russian skills were less then theirs, that was even more amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I really want to improve my Russian, i know German and English pretty well. I know a little Ball Room dancing - certainly could show you how to waltz!:-) I'd love to learn to play a russian song on the guitar!
