About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make laughter contagious

ABOUT ME

I'm an avid traveler, eager to see and experience as much as I can. Originally from Montreal, I now live in the UK and divide my time between my studies and my almost obsessive need to explore the world. Meeting people while I travel is part of the reason why I love to go away :)

PHILOSOPHY

Make every day count. You'll just get to live it once, so just as well make it memorable!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've only been a guest on people's couches so far, but when I get settled in a permanent place again I'd love to try hosting!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm still quite new in the CouchSurfing world, but I already love it! I think some of the best experiences you get while traveling is when you have the chance of meeting other people. It can make a huge difference, and meeting people who live in the place you want to explore is fantastic.

Interests

I could spend entire days just getting lost in the beauty of a place, walking around and exploring whatever that place has to offer. I love the countryside for its tranquility and authenticity, and I love the city when I need to feel its characteristic buzz and how busy it can get. Street art, music in the street, or unusual sights grab my attention, and being surrounded by nature usually takes my breath away. On quiet nights in I switch between films, whatever's on TV or music, but love nights out at pubs, gathering around a few drinks with good people who have good stories to tell.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Arriving in Halong Bay in Vietnam will forever be one of the moments I cherish the most. You read and hear about it, but until you're swaying on its waters yourself, it's hard to understand just why it's so wonderful. The confusing hour my friend and I spent in Kunming, China, trying to understand why and where the bus had just left us and why people were trying to take our backpacks and take us with them was terrifying then, but hilarious now. I'll always remember that day as being extremely stressful, confusing and tiring, but also as one of the best days of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn to play guitar. I teach piano to children with learning difficulties. I'd want to learn how to take amazing pictures and how to make good gluten free cookies.
