ABOUT ME

My name's Mari and I don't have any idea who I am or what I want to do with my life! All I know is while I'm still young, I want to see the world. Gary Lew once said "Shape your world or someone else will". and it's so true- I want to form my own point of view and opinions on this world and not live in an American bubble.
I've lived in France for about a year and a half, I'm a college student, and I'm pretty sure I want to do something with languages after school. I speak about 4 or 5. French fluently.
I fell for a French guy so my life choices are all over the place, I moved to France to be with him but I don't like their education system so I'm going back to America with my heart back in Europe.

I wish I could be in a million places at once.

I'm pretty all over the place, but I know that its the organized, routined people that don't experience all this world has to offer. God planted the travel seed in me and I plan to seek his will!

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a pretty big Christian but I hate the word "religion" because it's man-made. But my philosophy is anything Christ said, even if you don't believe- you can't deny the morals are worth living by.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I'm abroad in Europe till the end of August. But once I get back to America my couch is all yours. Learning other cultures is a very important thing but travel is expensive. Come surf on my couch for free!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As an exchange student in France for a year (before I moved back to france 8 months after my exchange) I lived in host families. Not the same thing but I know how to be respectful towards others' property.
