Hi, I'm Marilia and now i'm living in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria doing a traineeship. I'm an italian girl and I'm studying Veterinary Medicine, so I love animals and nature, and I could talk for hours about how beautiful is our planet and how wonderful travelling is. I really LOVE to travel around the world and know about other countries, other cultures, other people making new friends around the world. I could call myself curious, for sure.
I would really appreaciate to improve my spanish and maybe my english too; I can speak a mostly fluent french and, of course, italian :) I hope to see you, dear couchsurfers!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My experience with CS is new. Unfortunately l've never hosted someone and nobody hosted me before; but there's always a first time!
I love travelling but it's not so easy if you don't have enough money or enough time ehehe
BUT because I love travelling too much I'm always trying to take a plane and just go; I started to think about travelling alone and just LIVE the place that i'll visit.
And which is the best way? for sure spend some time with a person who lives in the place!

Interests

I'm interested in living my life as best I can; I'm always trying to discover and learn about new things, I love talk with people about everything more or less (but i'll not be interested in a conversation if you are homofobic or sexist or racist or you hate animals and nature).
I think that we can make our world a better place for us just if we open our mind and we share things.

As human being I feel like part of a huge and amazing network and I want to know all about it :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love italian old music like Adriano Celentano, Franco Battiato, Fabrizio De André, Mina, Matia Bazar (I can teach you sth about it)
but also I love dance and feel free, I can dance almost everything; I love concerts and funky and soul music, electronic music, latin american music, hip hop. I think that the music is my favourite thing.
But I love too just chill and watch a movie or a tv-series.

My favourite tv series: How I met your mother, Breaking Bad, Chernobyl, Our Planet, Vikings, Rick and Morty, Gomorra, Romanzo Criminale, Peaky Blinders, Twin Peaks (I have to finish it).

I like to read books too, at the moment I'm reading some books of Herman Hesse: Narciso e Boccadoro, Il lupo della steppa, Siddartha.
