I live in Helsinki with my spouse and two cats.

It feels a bit difficult to describe myself. I feel like writing that I am a social person but then again sometimes I feel that isolation is the best. I feel like writing that I am a daydreamer but then again I can be quite active person who gets a lot done too. So maybe better to just say that I am a mixture of many things and being already middle aged I also tried a few things in my life too.

What I can tell for sure is that:

- I like and appreciate people with kind heart towards other people and animals too.
- I really like cooking and I have been vegetarian for 25 years.
- I work as a photo-artist and love to go to theaters
-I read books
-I like singing but for some reason recent years I like singing best when alone (!) :=)
-I like walking
-I'm worried about the world
-I used to high-hike a lot
-I like camping
-My house is unstylish
-I have a small sailing boat with my friends

In my twenties (2001!) I used to be a member of a similar platform named Global freeloaders. In Helsinki there was only one other host besides me. I had many visitors and equal amount of great stories. I used to hitch-hike a lot and travel around with my camping stove and a tent. I liked to host as many people as possible 'cause for me it felt like an adventure in itself to meet people from so many places. I only had good experiences.

The last almost ten years I have been on and off. I lost my old profile too. Now I use this platform to contact people from the places I am travelling to for an advice of some specific or sometimes to host or to be hosted.
