I was raised in Columbia, Maryland, and studied at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. I teach high school Spanish in Wilmington, North Carolina. I have had the opportunity to teach English as a volunteer in Costa Rica for a summer as well as the privilege to study abroad in Quito, Ecuador during college where my love for travelling and exploring new places grew tremendously. I have travelled, to Spain, Italy, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. When not teaching or travelling, I enjoy the beach, chocolate chip cookies, and spending time with family and friends.
