expanding my horizons!! Discover all that´s out there, and having fun while doing it! //// if you don´t know were you going, any road will take you there!
I´m a journalist & photographer, easigoing & openminded, very interested in intercultural cross, meeting new people, new places, learning about politics and different cultures, music (rock, pop, folk). I love music shows, and fun parties, but I also enjoy a good quiet talk!
Enjoy, first of all!! Enjoy your life, have fun at work, love your friends and family, spend time outside, learn everything you can... I think those things are essential.
And explore new things, search opportunities. Have a neverending hunger for searching new things!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Mostly hosting csurfres at my place, and also showing them this amazing city! I´ve also had some great experiencies surfing with other people abroad!
So far.. really goood!!
I´ve met some interesting & fun characters from all over the world, and have a blast hosting them! Sharing new ideas, points of views, music & life are one of the most rewarding things of CS!
I love reading, from local newspapers to blogs about forreign policy! Everything from music (shows, magazines, new bands), politics and culture around the world, cooking... and stuff that help me understand more things from people living abroad. ANd I consider myself an amateur photographer!
Music, Movies, and Books
I´m into music, from local bands (pop & rock) like Babasónicos, Divididos, Catupecu, Massacre to more latinamerican stuff, like Manu Chao or Café Tacuba. But I also like anglo music, (Nick Cave, Johnny Cash, Dave MAtthews, Pearl Jam, The Cure, Belle and Sebastian, Sondre Lerche, and the list could go on and on! And.. flamenco music!! Camarón de la Isla y José Mercé rule!
In movies, I´m a biiig fan of Wes Anderson, Tim Burton and Woody Allen, but also from choral movies, in general if it´s a good story, authentic and fun, I´ll enjoy it.
Alice in Wonderland, both books and both movies! before sunset/sunrise, Casablanca, The triplettes of Belleville, los puentes de maddison, Punch drunk love, lost in translation, el laberinto del fauno, and so on!
Regarding books, my favourite author is Julio Cortázar. His stories are something incredible, and the way he wroted them still is very particular and unique. It´s a new world every time you open one of his books. I also like Borges, Kafka, Bioy Casares, and Arlt.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Not so many things... travelled to some lovely places of Argentina, visit (and get lost!) at Praha. I´ve slept in the desert!!!Party around Bilbao, Barcelona and Baires!
Teach, Learn, Share
Hmm learn is one of my main goals! So I´m open to new & interesting stuff!!
I could share the things I konw about history, politics, and local cousine & music!
What I Can Share with Hosts
The place and pace from were I live & love my city.
I can share with you many cultural and foodie traditions (as many "argentos" I´m the daughter of inmigration and those stories are also part of my present), a bit of history and politics to let you know why we are so fun, complicated, stubborn, arrogants, but yet lovable and friendly.
