My name is Marina and I'm 27 years old. I'm Portuguese, from Lisbon, and I've been living in France since 2007.

I'm a very open minded person, always ready for some adventure. I like to meet new people, make new friends and learn about different cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think this is a great way to meet people from other countries, to share and create new experiences! It's also a great way to receive good advices and best local addresses from a local resident.
It is also an awesome way to reduce some costs and spend a wonderful time abroad.

I like every kind of music !
Among my favorite books there are for example "Journey to the center of the heart" (Jules Verne) and "Fahrenheit 451" (Ray Bradbury).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For the moment I think my best experience was to leave for two months to Guatemala. I volunteer there for two NGOs and I had the opportunity to learn the signs language working with deaf-mute children on a project. It was a great experience full of sharing and unexpectedness.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook and learn languages. So I would be happy to practice one or both with my hosts or couchsurfers.
