Hello everyone!
I am new to this CouchSurfing site, but I'm so happy I found this! I am all about meeting new people, and immersing myself into new cultures by living with locals. I was an Au Pair in Germany for 7 months, I had the most incredible experience living with a family from Mannheim, and one from Bremen. We shared our life stories, and learned about our differences and similarities of our cultures. Now I can say I have close family in Germany! I am looking to have a similar experience through couch surfing :)

I will be traveling around Europe from May 31st till July 26th. I am looking to make some lifelong friends!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of the major reasons why I love to travel is the people I meet. CS seems to be a great way to easily connect to others, so I don't need to feel alone while traveling around by myself. I feel so grateful that I had the pleasure of making such wonderful friends while I was traveling in Germany. I am hoping to have more memorable experiences with the people I run into while I am in Europe again this summer.

I am very open minded, with a light sense of humor. I'm down to party, or just chill and talk about life.

Interests

Singing, playing guitar/piano badly, drawing, walking/hiking, and occasional night outs

Music, Movies, and Books

A lot of my favorite bands are from the 60's, (The Beatles, Hendrix Experience, The Doors, The Association etc)
I also really love some modern bands such as Fleet Foxes, Tame Impala, Of Montreal, Foxygen, and many more

I LOVE dark comedies, psychological thrillers/horror films, and the occasional sci-fis

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Overcame my social anxiety and learned to love socializing by meeting wonderful people from all over the world while traveling on my own in Germany and the Netherlands

Teach, Learn, Share

I am currently learning German, and picking up on my Spanish. It would be great to meet some native German or Spanish speakers that would like to help me practice :)
