Hi! I'm new to CS, so I don't have references but happy to provide some via e-mail/text. I was born in Bangladesh but I moved to New York City when I was 1 and grew up there. I quit my full-time job in NYC in August because it was psychically draining and I don't believe we were put on this earth to work 40+ hours at a desk job for someone else. Since I quit, I've been traveling in Europe to find a new second (permanent?!) home. I was in Barcelona for 10 days, Berlin for 10 days, and headed to Amsterdam for a few days, then back in Berlin. I want to work less and live more in a city where there are artists and similar minded people. I want to write more. I don't need a lot of money. Berlin seems like a good city to relocate to. I am looking at all kinds of visas (student, working, German language, etc.) so any advice is appreciated.

I am calm, low-key, and centered. I like my time indoors but I also love to explore. I like to write (mostly poetry, nonfiction), play a little guitar, and do yoga when I can. I love visiting museums and bookstores. I spend a lot of time thinking about the poetry of things, collective consciousness, "conspiracy theories," holistic healing, how to escape the 9-5 grind, how to leave NYC, minimalism, dessert, how to do absolutely nothing on the train, the evils of capitalism, how to sing like Angel Olsen (...not happening), yoga.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe in authentic experiences and learning from locals. It's amazing that this website exists. Traveling is such an enriching experience and I cherish every state and country I've visited.
