About Me

Treavelling, seeing, hearing, learning

Living in a small city near Moscow, currently at my parents' place. Easy to get to the center from here. Trains or buses. If traffic is fine it takes just 20 minutes to get to Moscow by bus. 40 minutes by train, the train station is 10 minutes walk.

I've just graduated from Moscow State Linguistic University, where I had been studying psychology for the last 5 years. Another part of it was English and German languages. I didn't have much free time while studying, so I took up part-time jobs. I worked in a Marriott hotel here in Moscow, than trained some employees English in some western firm, and currently I'm working as a teacher of English for 5-6 year old children in a privete school in Moscow. NOw I'm willing to stop teaching and switch to some other activity. I'm planning to get an MA in clinical/developmental psychology somewhere outside Russia, and basically that's the most important task I have to complete now when the summer is over.

I have a secret dream of leaving my beloved country. Which is the reason I appreciate so much all the past and recent experience of traveling to other places (Thanks mom and dad), and 'm striving for settling somewhere rather than Russia, in a place where I could feel calm, save, needed and enjoy life.

Personality things - guess I'm a bit introverted. I prefer private talks and small gatherings of friends, rather than crowds of people I hardly know. I'm really fond of making close friends, in the deepest sense of it. I adore meeting people who are a puzzle to me. Still, friendship is not an easy task, cause I value it too much and my claims may be too strict sometimes. The same in love. In all. Though I do have many friends, most of which play a huge role in my life - much has been gone through together etc - I often feel quite individualistic and sort of "separate", and I wouldn't say it's bad

I really enjoy focusing on an individual's world. It surely doesn't refer to each person I meet, but I really love talking, sharing, getting to know each other better, revealing secrets, exploring the core of another person, when the time comes. All those emotions.) Love it!

Experiencing new. Playing. My life is based on feelings and I die when there is nothing to sense butterflies in my stomach about, I'm always seeking to feel and experience and "suffer", in a good sense, it makes me alive.

As far as I've been to pretty many places, I've met some people, who literally changed my self-perception, taught me things, and served as guides to me, though at that moment I could hardly realize it. But I do appreciate it now. That's what brought me to this place. There are so many things people can gain from each other and each trip provides such a chance.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

UPDATE 2013 Currently in Freiburg, will start hosting once settled!

//At the moment I'm looking for a place to stay and people to meet in the USA, namely in Los Angeles, San Fran, Las Vegas, Miami, Washington and New York. The trip begins in the middle of July and will last for 5 weeks.

I will be happy to meet nice people here in Moscow and show them places, it is also possible that I could help find a place to stay.

Never had one, but hopefully will! I've never stayed at anyone's place, except for my trips to Canada, where I lived with an amazing Argentinian girl for 4 weeks, and Malta-5 weeks with roommates from Columbia, Finland and Ukraine. Those were families hosting international students.

I had a marvelous experience of communicating with Greek people, while I was staying in Greece for a month with my family (my uncle and 3 cousins live in Greece), that was awesome, I regret a lot I lost their contacts. We used to stay in touch for more than a year.

I also happened to meet great people from Switzerland and Belgium while being in Malta.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Almost died while riding a banana-boat. Seriously the most amazing thing so far is what I get by working with children, I can see them changing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've never had an experience of teaching Russian, but I guess it is possible. I can play piano and sometimes (pretty rarely) i love to paint
