HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have for the most part been either on the road or at my job in Northern Alberta so have participated as only a couchsurfer and not a host. If ever I am settled somewhere, someday, somehow it will be such a pleasure to have a revolving couch to offer to travelers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I (Marina) have couchsurfed in Eastern Canada, The USA and Throughout Europe with a couple of different musical acts. Every couchsit I have stayed with has been incredible. There is nothing quite like the kindness of strangers and the ability to make new friends and connections around the world.

Guitar, Songwriting, Meditation, People's life stories, Food (gluten free). Biking, walking gentle trails with beautiful quiet scenery. Team sports. Yoga. Meeting people who practice various healing modalities. Catching forest fires. Pancakes over the campfire.

I picked mushrooms on the Queen Charlotte Islands for a month. That was insanely cool. My Job as a Firelookout is pretty darn cool too.
