About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Have Fun, Create Value, Build Relationships

ABOUT ME

I'm from Argentina and I work as an English teacher 9 months a year, but during the summer I have looong holidays. I spend them travelling as much as I can. I love meeting people and learning about other cultures, that's why I have studied other languages. I speak Spanish, English, Portuguese and a little German.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first time I travelled to NY I was 21 and I stayed in a friend's friend's house for 4 days. I had no idea were I was going or who I was going to stay with but I had no other option because I didn't have much money left. This guest ended up being an incredibly nice person who introduced me to his friends, showed me around the city and even took me out to dinner on my birthday!

Interests

Literature, Languages, Music, Sports and exercise (Volleyball, swimming, walking, cycling, hiking)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: mainly alternative, indie, folk, rock, but also Latin rhythms and reggae, depending on the occasion.
Movies: My favourite movie is Little Miss Sunshine.
Books: My favourite author is George Orwell.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in a student-run cooperative house with 120 people from all over the world, for 6 months. That was amazing, and the people I lived with were the most amazing people I've ever met.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Spanish or English, I'm a teacher after all!
I have recently learned how to make paper cranes, and I think anybody could benefit from a skill like that :D

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Brazil, Brunei Darussalam, Chile, Croatia, Denmark, French Polynesia, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Montenegro, Netherlands, Panama, Portugal, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Thailand, Turkey, United States, Uruguay, Venezuela
