About Me

Hey there!
My name is Marina and I am a Biology student. I study my bachelor in Madrid, but actually I am from the north of Spain, from a seaside city called Santander.

Currently, I will spend the next 6 months ( August to January) in Córdoba, Argentina as an exhange student.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great tool to travel the world not just as a tourist, but as a real traveller, learning and connecting with people and cultures around the world. Spending time with your guests is a super nice cultural inmersion.

Interests

I am crazy about travelling and I combine this passion the best I can with my studient occupation. By the end of my bachelor I will have made 3 different exchanges programs ( Puerto Rico, Netherlands and Argentina). My passion for travelling starting while travelling with my parents arpund Spain and Europa and later I embarked my self in more challenging trips ( Colombia with la Ruta Quetzal 2012) , Tanzania ( as a medical volunterr from and NGO in 2014)....

I love music and I love to discover new bands and styles thought my friends. I am a passioante about live music and concerts and festivals! I also really enjoy drawing and reading, but I mostly perfom them while summertime, as univeristy does not leave me with so much time....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was living in Puerto Rico in 2017 when the two category 5 hurricanes (Irma and María) hitted the island.
I went to Tanzania 1 month to work with the NGO "TATU Project".
I participated in "La Ruta Quetzal 2012" and I went on a trip to Colombia during 1 month with people from all over the world.
