My name is Marine,
I am a classical guitarist and a guitar teacher. Guitar, it is a bit my whole life till there.
I spend time every day with it, I teach it, I learn every day more about it and I travel a lot for it.
Music is a beautiful way of meeting people and to share with them!
I play in a super trio with two other Norwegian female guitarists. So, I mostly travel to the north of Europe, but I also love the south, especially from my one year Erasmus in Sevilla.
I am living in the flemmish part of Belgium since some time, and I started learning dutch. I really like to discover countries and learn languages . My idea is more languages you know, more the world is open!
Besides that, I like to sing, to cook (a lot, I am really good in making cakes and crêpes), to play board games, to read, to sport, and I am always eager to meet new people and to learn about all kind of different experiences for my own.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is my little sister (yes, i have three sisters.. :) ) who convinced me to try couchsurfing. She passed almost 2 months in Great britain and had an epic trip thanks to CS, she met people and discovered the true London, she was so enthusiastic!
So, here I am ! For the moment, I am going regulary to Lille because of work.. I am not from the north of France and i had the feeling to meet nobody ! So, I tried CS and i had great evenings, conversations, dinners and cooking moments with people, knowing their city, sharing their knowledge and their interests. I was feeling so happy!
I hope to experiment couchsurfing in many other places when i will be traveling with my guitar or not !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the opportunity when i was living in burgundy to play like guitarist in an opera of Alban Berg, Wozzeck!
1600 seats, a big stage, an orchestra , singers, and i was dressed like a cheerleader with my little guitar and the other male guitarist was also in skirt! memorable !!

What I Can Share with Hosts

classical guitar? Why not, beside to be a musician I also like to share cooking moments, board games and just good conversations!
