ABOUT ME
I'm a graphic designer and photographer living in Portland, Oregon. I'm vegetarian, and fairly health-conscious, with the exception being that I love good beer (primarily IPAs). I listen mostly to punk/metal, and enjoy going to shows. I'm a little quiet at first but I'm a very friendly and respectful guy. I really like talking about space, or just sharing stories and experiences.
PHILOSOPHY
I just make sure I learn something from every experience, even bad ones.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well I just signed up, but I'm going to Europe for 6 weeks this summer (2013) and want to make the most out of my time there.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've never couchsurfed before (outside of sleeping on friends' couches a lot in college), but I hear lots of good things.

Music, Movies, and Books
The Big Lebowski and Zoolander are probably the 2 movies I've watched repeatedly for most of my life.
In addition, some of my favorites are There Will be Blood, Alien, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Cube, Donnie Darko, Eraserhead, and Lost in Translation
I watch a lot of terrible B, even C or D horror movies as well.
My music sounds mostly like a bunch of screaming and loud noises to people who don't enjoy it, so I won't really go into that. But I also like some Neutral Milk Hotel, Death Cab for Cutie, Band of Horses and Elliot Smith.
The only book I'm reading right now is called Physics of the Future, and it's about the future.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to Alaska with my family in 2005 and saw some of the most beautiful scenery of my life. Also, just moving from California to Oregon was big for me since most of my family members all live within 30 miles of San Francisco.
