Let's see! I was born and raised in my beautiful home country of Canada. I was raised right along the ocean in one of the most scenic places in the world, Gibsons (I am not biased at all :P ). I moved to the big city when I was done high school to get an edumacation ;)

I got my Bachelor of Science about a year ago and am now pursuing a teaching degree. One day, (hopefully not too far into the future) I will be teaching my very own high school physics classroom :)

Throughout my whole life my family has hosted exchange students from around the world. They have always invited me to come and visit their countries and this has always made me want to go travel.

I am respectful, responsible, clean, courteous, polite and fun-loving. I like to tease people and laugh lots. I love animals! (the fluffier the better :P)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My wife of 4 years and I are going to Europe! This is something that both of us have dreamed of our whole lives. We've saved up and are so excited to be making this a reality! We hope to start a family within a few years, so we figured that we should travel now while we can!

Interests

I am very competitive! So anything which allows me to be competitive will usually be an interest! I love ultimate frisbee, football, American football, badminton, ping-pong....almost anything. I love good competitive board games, like Settlers of Catan, or Ticket to Ride. I love being outdoors which includes camping and taking pictures of beautiful landscapes. I love interacting with people in intelligent and engaging conversations too! They tell me I have good people skills!

Music, Movies, and Books

To be honest I'm not much of a reader :P I think that university has ruined me for that, but I'm sure my love for it will come back eventually haha

Favourite movies would include Interstellar, Chuck (TV Show), Breaking Bad, Prison Break. I really like those hilarious kids movies too, like Up, Tangled, Zootopia, the Incredibles, etc.!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There's one thing that I suppose I am quite proud of. I graduated from a pretty amazing university, which I was heavily involved in. Due to this involvement and my good grades, I was nominated to be the Valedictorian of my graduating class! Not only was I nominated but I gave the Valedictory address and it went very well. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I taught one of my grade 7 students how to do a Rubik's cube recently, so maybe that!

I would like to learn about the cultures of the countries that we visit in Europe!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well for one, my wife and I are good company! We're also great for cleaning up after ourselves. We love to cook too so we would be delighted if we could maybe cook a meal for you! We could try to make it Canadian!
