I've made some great couchsurfing experiences with my friend and flatmate Florian when we were travelling through Canada and the USA.

hmmm... i could give you long lists of movies, bands and books I enjoy.
I especially (but not only) like science-fiction and gangster/mafia movies (pulp fiction just to name one).
My music taste reaches from classical music to dubstep (and everything in between). Right now while I'm writing this I'm listening to metronomy :)
I especially like books that critically analyse economy, politics or society (eg. Jean Ziegler) but also fantasy and thriller novels.
